I’m Federico Landaeta, a Venezuelan American artist currently residing in Florida. I graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with a bachelor's in illustration. I have worked with various traditional media, but I primarily work digitally.

My main inspiration has always come from nature and our relationships to it. I also draw inspiration from stories and creatures from fantasy and mythology. I enjoy making art that creates deep emotions through colors and concepts. Creating connections between characters and the audience is always my focus. I deeply appreciate the combined power of images and words and how stories shape us and our world.

Growing up in Venezuela and moving to America when I was young made it difficult to find relatable media, because of this I strive to create art that resonates with my heritage and art with more representation for young readers in my illustrative work.
